봄을 대표하는 축제인 원동매화축제를 맞아 한국철도공사 부산경남본부가 열차 운행을 확대합니다.
3월 7일부터 22일까지 16일간 총 14개 열차가 원동역에 **94회 추가 정차(주말 84회·주중 10회)**하며, 무궁화호 2개 열차(#1961, #1964)는 객차를 1량씩 증편해 좌석 공급을 늘립니다.
축제 기간에는 입석 승차권까지 매진이 예상되는 만큼, 열차 이용객은 왕복 승차권을 미리 예매하는 것이 좋겠습니다.
한편, 코레일 부산경남본부는 고객 안전을 최우선으로 시설물과 위험개소에 대한 사전 점검을 완료하고, 축제 기간 동안 안전 인력을 배치해 안전관리에 만전을 기할 예정입니다.

To celebrate the Wondong Maehwa Festival, a signature spring event, the Busan–Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) will expand train operations.
From March 7 to 22 (16 days), a total of 14 trains will make 94 additional stops at Wondong Station (84 on weekends and 10 on weekdays). In addition, two Mugunghwa-ho trains (#1961 and #1964) will each add one extra car to increase seating capacity.
As standing tickets are also expected to sell out during the festival period, passengers are strongly advised to purchase round-trip tickets in advance.
Meanwhile, the Busan–Gyeongnam Headquarters has completed comprehensive safety inspections of facilities and potential risk areas, prioritizing passenger safety. Additional safety personnel will also be deployed throughout the festival period.
